At Ruedas Alex, we have designed an innovative solution for a great challenge that an important firm from the automotive sector was dealing with. The problem was that they needed to move a very heavy load with a minimum hight. The solution for this had to include housing and forks with brakes, directional locks and foot protectors for a very reduced working space.

At the beginning the client suggested 2 options: 3 swivel castors in each side of the platform, or a system of rollers combined with swivel castors. After hearing the proposals our homologation department disregarded both options, opting for a more efficient solution.

The option that was implemented at the end was the HLB-NF Series with Nylon (Polyamide 6) which are considered extra heavy duty castors. This wheels can hold up to 2-750 kg each Wheel, and they are very resistant to chemical agents and wear and tear. To this we added a directional lock as well and the foot protector.

We submitted the castor with modifications to tests and they were very successful, allowing the manual offset as well as with a lift truck. This solution fulfils the entire requisites of the customer for the automotive sector.
